The base ingredient of Härtelö is Finnish faba beans grown under the midnight sun. Our Helsinki-based start up is owned and ran by a team of seven enthusiastic entrepreneurs.


Originally developed as a food science course project in the University of Helsinki, Härtelö combines a new, sustainable base ingredient with beloved traditions.


Above all our goal is to ensure, that Härtelö will always be at least as delicious and creamy as traditional ice cream. Available now in selected S-group stores across Finland!
